Mykolas Rambus
Mr. Rambus was most recently the Chief Information Officer for the W. P. Carey group of companies, responsible for managing all aspects of the group’s information strategy and technical infrastructure. Prior to joining W. P. Carey, Mr. Rambus was the President and Chief Executive Officer of LOBBY7, a telecommunications software company that sells server products to North American and European wireless carriers. Mr. Rambus has also held positions with American Management Systems and Startec Global Communications.
Mr. Rambus was honored to receive a CIO Decisions Mid-market Leadership Award in 2006, and has appeared in numerous publications including the New York Times, CIO Magazine, CSO Magazine, and CIO Today. He has been a speaker at various technology leadership and venture capital conferences, including CIO Summit V and The Fisher College of Business CIO Solutions Gallery at Ohio State University. In addition, he was a contributing resource to Greg Smith’s book, ‘Straight to the Top: Becoming a World Class CIO’.
Mr. Rambus studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he concentrated in Operations Research and Information Technology. He is an advisor to the Center for Advancing Business through Information Technology at Arizona State University, a Board member of The Roeper School in Bloomfield Hills, MI, and an active member of the venture capital and start-up communities. Mr. Rambus is also an avid fencer.
